It's alright, but the thing that bothers me most is how high the bar is you guys set, and this just isn't engaging or challenging enough. It's just "press the button at the right time" with a little bit of "pew-pew" action.

What else is there to fix in a 2D snake game? Certainly not this; the intentional lag, the pointless rocks, and the redundant potion sprites.

Aprime responds:

it's supposed to run like that because it's old school. One block at a time.

Game is good and simple enough, until you get to level 13. There is no excuse for a level to have no explanation or poor execution. Also, add a level menu for Pete's sake.

Great game, but in the later levels there were no enemies coming after me. Could you fix that and could you also maybe do away with the weapon selection? it makes the game too easy.

MoeAnguish responds:

Thanks, but i apologize, however, the weapon selection is there as a direct reference to Hotline Miami's Mask selection screen and also there for those who find the game hard. you can just select to go in without a gun if you find the game too easy.

As for the bug you've encountered, it'll be handled in the next version which should be coming out soon.

This year, i will get every present

midgetsausage responds:

just checking in after 10 months, did you get them all yet?

It's ok. Gives you a good rush. But some instructions in the description, since I can't go back to the menu and I don't want to reload, would be nice. I'm still unfamiliar about why I'm losing, but I understand the objective of how to play. But when I know how to play but not how to lose, then there is a problem.

This main problem with this game is the controls, both the keys and the movement. The movement is slippery and annoying and why I need two keys to jump is beyond me. If the controls worked like a functional game, these levels would've been fair.

this is the best PSA game since forever! not including the PETA games

The game starts off boring and the upgrade system seems more like gimmick that just so happens to make the game easier instead of actually being an integral part of the game. I get confused between the superpowers of each color and the plasma meter, as they just get the character to move from one platform to another, which is the most boring thing in a game. The crab that's following you doesn't pose much of a threat because the character can stop and walk backwards slowly, which is the worst thing this game has to offer. If you were trying to make an endless runner game, then it didn't work, because the pacing in this game is nonexistent.

Pastruvium responds:

Sorry the gameplay didn't work for you, hopefully the next game will be better!
One suggestion I have is to try to use the powers of the states in creative ways to get around the obstacles, as they don't only move the player from platform to platform.
Thanks for trying it out though and leaving a review!

This is a pretty interesting game! I love the simple never ending lore and the unique adventuring mechanics!
